High Achievers Learning Center Kids’ Club • Club de niños is ideal for a summer school program, end-of-year review, or beginning of kindergarten overview of skills taught in pre-K. The Kids’ Club offers engaging, creative activities to make learning fun!
BRIDGE UNFINISHED LEARNING IN THE SUMMER TO ENSURE A SMOOTH TRANSITION TO KINDERGARTEN
Packed full of fun and adventure, the High Achievers Learning Center Kids’ Club • Club de niños four-week thematic unit includes a focus on key literacy and math skills; integration of science, social studies, and physical development; Conscious Discipline® strategies for social-emotional development, and more!
Kids’ Club four weeks of integrated instruction features:
- Week 1 – Things Kids Do • Cosas que hacen los niños – focuses on performing arts, with activities built around things children like to do with their friends, becoming a “puppeteer,” storytelling, and celebrating birthdays.
- Week 2 – Games Kids Play • Juegos que juegan los niños – focuses on sportsmanship, with activities built around many different games from a variety of cultures. Children explore the many different types of games that keep them entertained and learning simultaneously.
- Week 3 – Places Kids Go • Lugares donde van los niños – focuses on exploring with activities built around some of children’s favorite places to learn and play: playgrounds, amusement parks, the circus, the zoo and the beach!
- Week 4 – Investigations • Investigaciones – focuses on investigating childhood wonder—dandelions, worms, bubbles, plants, and so much more. Children investigate scientific questions and unfold mysteries.
In addition to Weekly Learning Centers, each day of the Kids’ Club includes a Greeting Circle time, Morning Message, Music, Read-Aloud time, Transitions, Practice, Content Connections, and ideas for Closing Circle. Conscious Discipline’s® social-emotional practices are integrated into the daily Greeting Circle.

All of the components in High Achievers Learning Center Kids’ Club Club de niños are available in digital format on the High Achievers Learning Center (teacher guide, books, posters, vocabulary cards, letter cards, story folders, patterns, and listening book audio) to support virtual instruction and reinforce learning at home.
